Sherri Shields
Sherri Shields (she/her) joined us as a dual genre student in Fall of ‘21. Sherri is interested in young adult and children’s fiction as well as creative nonfiction. She has been writing lovely essays about her childhood and the Midwestern landscape; she also writes fictioinal hybrid pieces that are humorously yet darkly satirical and comment on modern life, especially the emotional nuances of personal relationships and equity and equality. Sherri deferred a semester in Spring of ‘22. We hope to have her back soon! Her work has been a total delight, and her presence is greatly missed.
